So I recently built a very fast website in order to visualise the Covid-19 deaths in the UK as seen here, nothing fancy just a couple of graphs on a page with suitable legends/labels etc.
There are other sites doing the same thing, but I thought I could make it far simpler, blazing fast using Gatsby and Netlify and completely ad free. I found other sites had ads on their sites and I felt it was a bit wrong to be profiting off of the current situation. Luckily for me Netlify is free and so all I had to pay was about 76p for the domain (being an .xyz domain, they're extremely cheap) hence why I use one for this site.
I know I'm a bit late to showing this data as the UK is way past the peak, but I hope that it will serve people in the weeks to come to see what we have been through as a nation.
I will keep the site up as long as I own the domain (1 year) and I will be updating the stats daily.
